Network Merchants Incorporated (NMI) is the premier payment gateway that provides the best payment solutions to their customers. You can connect with NMI through ChargeMonk to process your payments seamlessly.
Prior to choose NMI as your payment gateway, consider below given factors:
Countries supported: Companies located in USA can use NMI as their payment gateway. For checking if the location, where your company is based supports NMI or not click here.
Payment Methods: Currently only Card payments made through NMI is supported by ChargeMonk.

Integration Options
To associate with NMI, ChargeMonk offers two options.
1. ChargeMonk Checkout and NMI Payment Gateway
When using this feature, the card details of customer are collected by ChargeMonk's secure hosted pages and migrated on to NMI. This process will ease your PCI compliance requirements. If you are a merchant using hosted pages of ChargeMonk, all you need to do is to fill a Self Assessment Questionnaire to stay compliant.
2. ChargeMonk API and NMI Payment Gateway
When using this feature, the card details collection is managed by you and is migrated to ChargeMonk later. ChargeMonk will then pass the card details to NMI. PCI compliance requirements will be completely your responsibility.
Prerequisite
- Spreedly is currently used by ChargeMonk to store the customer's card information. In case you are already using services of NMI, you will have to pass the card information of your customer to Spreedly to initiate using ChargeMonk with NMI.
- 2. You have to create a merchant account with NMI for configuring NMI in ChargeMonk.
Configuring NMI
Sign in to ChargeMonk Live Site. NMI can be configured in your Live Site only.
Step 1: Go to Settings > Configure ChargeMonk > Payment Gateway > Add a Gateway > NMI
Step 2: Add your Login ID and Password and click Connect button.
Step 3: NMI ePayments are now configured.
You can verify the card of customer prior to adding them in ChargeMonk. A small amount will get debited from the customer's card and will get refunded instantly, in this process. If this authorization fails, the customer cannot be able to add their card. This process will get activated by default and it cannot get disabled.
Now, Click the Manage link to configure other card settings.
Step 4: The Cards setting window will popup as shown below. Pick the required settings.
Always restore the card details in NMI whenever customer updates it: Activate this option in case you are using more than one payment gateways and you have to update the latest card information of customer in NMI.
Step 5: Click Save button.
