Introduction

BlueSnap is an online payment processor designed for companies, which process the payments globally. ChargeMonk is all set to accept the payment made through BlueSnap.

Note

Only the LIVE site of ChargeMonk supports BlueSnap.

Choosing BlueSnap

Prior to choose BlueSnap as your payment solution consider the below given factors:

  • Countries supported:
    • For present, BlueSnap is available for businesses running in the United States, Europe, Canada, Latin America, Australia and Asia. To get the detailed list of countries, click here .

  • Pricing: Get detailed info about BlueSnap's pricing .
  • Payment methods: Currently, ChargeMonk supports Card payments made through BlueSnap only.

Using ChargeMonk and BlueSnap

Spreedly is currently used by ChargeMonk to store the customer's card information. In case you are already using services of BlueSnap, you will have to pass the card information of your customer to Spreedly to initiate using ChargeMonk with BlueSnap. Integration Options

Option A ChargeMonk's Hosted Checkout pages + BlueSnap

When using this feature, the card details of customer are collected by ChargeMonk's secure hosted pages and migrated on to BlueSnap This process reduces your PCI compliance requirements. If you are a merchant using hosted pages of ChargeMonk, all you need to do is to fill a Self Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ-A) to stay complaint.

Option B ChargeMonk API + BlueSnap

When using this feature, the card details collection is managed by you and is migrated to ChargeMonk later. When captured, ChargeMonk would pass the card details to BlueSnap.

Configuring BlueSnap with ChargeMonk

Step 1: Get in touch with support@chargemonk.com to activate BlueSnap in your LIVE site.

Step 2: When activated, go to Settings > Configure ChargeMonk > Payment Gateways, click Add a Gateway and pick BlueSnap from the available list of payment gateways.

Step 3: Enter the API Username and Password that is recovered from your BlueSnap account.

Step 4: You have to add the IP addresses of Spreedly to your BlueSnap account. All the requests including payment, refund etc. that will invoke from BlueSnap will begin from such IP addresses. Ensure that you white list the outbound IP Address given here.

Step 5: Ensure to activate Card Verification and Card Storage as per your requirements. Now, the gateway configuration is complete.
